EAGAN, Minn. — Harrison Smith's weekly coffee with Minnesota Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell has been one part of a special season for both of them and the entire team. The veteran safety and the boss have bonded over chats about fatherhood and family in O'Connell's office. O'Connell has appreciated the value Smith brings beyond the field and their peer-like relationship at less than four years apart in age. Smith is in his 13th season in the NFL. He will turn 36 one week before the Super Bowl. The Vikings play the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night in a wild-card round game.
