NEW ORLEANS — Zion Williamson symbolically announced his return from a 27-game injury absence with a breakaway slam in which he rotated 360 degrees in the air while throwing down a crowd-pleasing dunk. The Pelicans lost 104-97 to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night. But Williamson scored 22 points in a little less than 28 minutes and had several above-the-rim highlights. Williamson says his big dunk felt like just "another day at the office" on the heels of what he called a "more extreme" approach to his rehabilitation from a left hamstring strain. Williamson was playing for just the seventh time this season. He also had six rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block of Wolves center Rudy Gobert.
