WEST JORDAN — A motorcyclist died in a collision with a car Sunday, police confirmed.
The crash occurred Sunday afternoon on Redwood Road at about 8680 South, West Jordan police officer Alondra Zavala said. She said a vehicle was going to take a left-hand turn when the motorcycle collided with the car.
The motorcyclist, described as a 25-year-old man, succumbed to injuries after being taken to a local hospital. Police have not yet released the name of the motorcyclist.
The car had only one occupant and no other injuries were caused by the crash, the West Jordan police said. The crash, which closed Redwood Road at 8680 South in both directions until around 8:30 p.m., remains under investigation.
