THE LIVING ROOM — Language barriers can be difficult, especially when you're trying to communicate something you want to a completely different species.

Link, on the other hand, seems to know how to communicate in canine, human and maybe even feline languages. WeRateDogs highlighted this pooch's uncanny ability to articulate his desire for lap time, although that space is occupied by the cat.

There's just so much to break down in a 16-second video here. I can't get over the Link's huff when he realizes the audacity that it's up to him to make this request. Yet, what impresses me the most is that he forms a plea so clearly that even the cat appears to have gotten the message.

We'll never know if Link got his lap time, but WeRateDogs was willing to give his speaking abilities a respectable 13 out of 10 ranking.

Thirteen may not be high enough for this skill, though.
