No. 4 Penn State rebounded from its first loss this season by thumping Washington last week. Now the Nittany Lions will try to keep their faint Big Ten title hopes alive Saturday when they visit reeling Purdue. Penn State has faced only two serious challenges this season. But the Boilermakers have struggled mightily this season, losing eight straight — dropping four of those by margins of 35 or more points.
