SALT LAKE CITY — It's time for another weekend of college football, so let's look at the Week 9 slate of picks.
We start out with an exciting Friday night matchup that will absolutely have playoff implications when Boise State travels to Las Vegas to take on a solid UNLV team. The Broncos are in the driver's seat for a playoff bid, but the Rebels have been playing some of the best football in the Group of Five.
The local teams all take the middle slate of games — and are all on the road.
BYU travels to Florida, hoping to avoid an upset as one of only a handful of undefeated teams left; Utah travels to Houston looking to get out of a three-game losing rut with a new offensive coordinator; and Utah State looks to get its first FBS win of the season in a tough Wyoming atmosphere.
And in the late slate, it's a ranked vs. ranked matchup as Texas A&M welcomes a tough LSU team to town. The Tigers have been one of the best teams this season, but enter College Station as an underdog against an Aggies team that has been much improved.
