SALT LAKE CITY — The fun of college football never stops, and Week 8 was another great one!

BYU opened up the weekend with a narrow defeat at home over Oklahoma State — in spectacular fashion, no less — to maintain an undefeated streak to the season. The result was predictable for most pickers (93%), but there was some doubt in that final minute of the game.

On the other hand, Utah and Utah State failed to get past the weekend without another loss — both in frustrating ways. New Mexico made a late comeback to upset Utah State (only 44% of people picked the Lobos), and Utah failed to get any offense against a down TCU team (only 12% had the Horned Frogs winning).

In what was considered an upset (only 17% of picks had the Bulldogs), Georgia showed Texas that the old SEC is still strong, and new blood isn't up to the test just yet. And then Indiana put on a show to absolutely overwhelm a good Nebraska team. Only 24% of picks had Nebraska, but they didn't stand a chance.

This week, BYU fans swept the top of the leaderboard, with Matthew Cannon coming out with the No. 1 spot with 164 points. Behind him was Troy Cude, who managed 154 points, followed by Matt Carpenter (150 points).

Congrats to our winners, who will get a $100, $50 an $25 Amazon gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union.

The overall winners of Pick'em this year will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.

Below are the results from Week 3, including the updated leaderboard from the KSL.com Sports group.
