SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Hockey Club got the party started with a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday night at the Delta Center.
The evening was full of festivities, including a block party in front of the building with a performance by country music star Shaboozey. Inside the arena, fans were treated to a great atmosphere and returned the favor by powering the team to a three-goal win over the Blackhawks.
SLC Puck! host Austin Facer believes the game was a lot closer than the final score would indicate. Still, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Fortunately, Utah goaltender Connor Ingram was both in a strong showing.
