BALTIMORE — Anthony Santander hit a game-ending, two-run homer with two outs in the ninth inning, and the Baltimore Orioles moved closer to a postseason berth with a 5-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants. Santander's longball off Ryan Walker was his 42nd of the season. Casey Schmitt tied it on a single in the top of the inning. Baltimore entered the game Thursday having lost three in a row and eight of 10. The Orioles moved three games ahead of idle Kansas City for the top AL wild-card spot. The Giants were eliminated from playoff contention.
