SALT LAKE CITY — Week 2 of college football did not disappoint.
BYU earned a "gritty" win over SMU on the road, giving the 44% of people that picked the Cougars the advantage for the week. That result, alone, changed the dynamic of the week among all picks.
Outside of that game, pretty much all the other results went as planned — 81% of picks had Texas, 97% of picks had Utah, 80% of picks had Nebraska, and 98% of picks had USC.
You all got some easy points this week, but it's only going to get tougher as the season continues.
This week, two BYU fans and one Utah fan went undefeated and topped the leaderboard. BYU fan Robert Brown came out on top with 222 points, beating out Utah fan Jason Glade (218) and fellow BYU fan Nate Cox (212).
Congrats to our winners, who will get a $100, $50 an $25 Amazon gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union.
The overall winners of Pick'em this year will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.
