KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Michael Wacha pitched seven innings of four-hit ball, Garrett Hampson and Salvador Perez drove in runs and the Royals beat the Twins 2-0 on Sunday to complete a series sweep. Kansas City moved 2 1/2 games ahead of its of AL Central-rival for the second wild-card spot. Wacha struck out seven while issuing one walk to earn his 100th career win. Simeon Woods Richardson allowed two runs on three hits and two walks before he was pulled with one out in the fifth inning. Lucas Erceg worked around a single in the ninth for Kansas City to earn his 11th save.
