PARIS — A couple days before the United States women's rugby team won a bronze medal in thrilling fashion, former NFL star Jason Kelce had a challenge for one of the team's star athletes.
Kelce and his wife, Kylie, have made the Olympics their home recently, attending various events in support of Team USA.
On Sunday, Kelce took on an arm wrestling challenge against rugby star Nicole Heavirland.
For a few seconds, the two are locked in an equal fight before Kelce eventually wins the match (but he might have gotten a little support by holding onto the table for leverage).
Heavirland jokingly called him out in an Instagram post documenting the match, saying "@Jason.kelce holding on to that table a little bit? 🤣."
Kelce offered a "rules" retort, saying: "Holding onto something with your off hand is completely within the rules of the International federation of Arm Wrestling."
Sure, but Heavirland didn't hold onto the table, just saying.
Either way, it was a fun moment from the Olympics. And kudos to Team USA for earning its first-ever medal.
