ROME — Men are eligible to compete in Olympic artistic swimming for the first time in Paris this year. But with no men picked a former world champion from Italy is ending his career this week. Four-time worlds gold medalist Giorgio Minisini says he's competing for the last time at age 28 at the Italian national championships. Minisini and Bill May of the United States were the two most likely Olympic pioneers aiming for Paris. However, 96 athletes picked by 18 different nations were all women. World Aquatics hopes to add mixed duet for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
