SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Fire Department responded to a large building fire near 1075 W. 1700 South early Sunday.

About 1:05 a.m., Salt Lake fire crews responded to the blaze located near an industrial parts store. The fire was under control nearly 40 minutes later and firefighters remained on scene throughout Sunday morning.

The incident prompted road closures which remain on 1700 South from 1045 West to Riverside Drive, according to the Salt Lake fire department.
