ST. GEORGE — A Hurricane, Washington County, man was arrested after police say he brandished a gun in the parking lot of a medical complex, police say.

Shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to 136 E. Riverside Dr. on a report of a verbal altercation between two men in the parking lot of an office complex in St. George.

One of the men brandished a gun during the argument, an allegation later confirmed by video, according to a police booking affidavit.

As police were responding to the incident, the man with the gun was seen driving off in a white Chevrolet pickup truck and heading west on Riverside Drive prior to the first units arriving. Police say they then spotted the truck near the intersection of Sunland Drive in St. George.
