SALT LAKE CITY — It's been a marathon through the month of May, but prep athletes and high school sports fans in Utah have made it to the finish line.
In addition to graduation and the other traditional sports on the spring calendar, the Utah High School Activities Association added boys volleyball to the championship menu for the first time with the 2024 season, making for a marathon May.
The back half of the year will get more crowded soon, as well, with the association adding competitive esports that will run from January through April beginning with the 2025-26 academic year.
For now, let's take a look back at titles handed out in baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, golf, tennis and soccer, as well as track and field.
