SALT LAKE CITY — Some call him the elder statesman of snowboarding.
But 35-year-old Louie Vito is still competing and winning on the world stage.
"Some things change, like learning tricks is a little different now than when I was a little younger," Louie Vito said. "But for me, I love to do it. I love the grind, and I love competition."
So the Utah resident continues his relentless workouts in hopes of qualifying for his third Winter Olympic Games in two years.
"I just want to be somebody that is really carrying the torch for snowboarding and handing down wisdom to the younger generations to stoke them out, because they're going to be the ones taking over snowboarding when I'm done," he said.
He's not done yet. Check out Louie's story in the video above.
