WEST HAVEN, Weber County — One person has died and another was seriously injured after a rollover crash on state Route 126 near 1750 South in West Haven.

The crash happened about 4:33 p.m. when a Ford pickup truck heading north crossed the center line of S.R. 126 into the southbound lane. "A Toyota Sequoia tried to move right, but they hit head on," said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden.

Both vehicles rolled. The woman driving the Sequoia was transported to a hospital in extremely critical condition, but later died from her injuries, Roden said. The man driving the truck was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

No other details were provided about the victims. Neither vehicle had any passengers.

S.R. 126 was closed in both directions for about an hour while the crash was being investigated.
