Luke Toomalatai, DL, Long Beach City College (Henderson, Nev.)
The 16th commitment to BYU's recruiting class of 2024 came from Henderson, Nevada by way of Long Beach City College, where the 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive lineman totaled 31 tackles, 9.5 sacks and a forced fumble in nine games in 2023.
Rated the No. 82 JUCO prospect in the country by 247Sports, Toomalatai — who prepped at Liberty High in the Las Vegas Valley — also had offers Akron, Coastal Carolina and Houston, among others, before pledging Dec. 14 to the Cougars.
