SALT LAKE CITY — About six Union Pacific train cars derailed early Friday in a rail yard in Salt Lake City.

There were no injuries.

The derailment happened at about 4 a.m.

A spokesperson with Union Pacific said, "Cleanup work is underway at the site, with cars being cleared and the track inspected and repaired."

The cause is under investigation.
