SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health reported the following update on COVID-19 in the state for Sunday:
- 223 new cases
- No deaths
- 10,983 vaccinations administered
The rolling seven-day average for positive cases in the state is now at 232.
The rolling seven-day average for percent positivity calculated by the "people over people" method is 5.7%. The rolling seven-day average for percent positivity calculated by the "tests over tests" method is 3.7%. Since Saturday, 5,186 tests were conducted, and 3,233 people were tested. Utah has now conducted a total of 4,962,525 COVID-19 tests, with 2,713,252 people tested.
A total of 2,311 people have died of COVID-19 in Utah since the pandemic began.
