SALT LAKE CITY — A 17-year-old boy was critically injured after a fall in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Donut Falls Friday morning.

A witness at the scene told KSL that the teen was flown out of the area by helicopter, with several fractures.

Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office communications director Chris Bronson said the teen is being treated at a local hospital for his injuries.
