The KSL Outdoors Snapshot of the Week from our May 9, 2026 episode features Brogun Bell and the lift he got from a fellow angler. Brogun and his dad had a tough day fishing at Otter Creek Reservoir. They were targeting wipers and hadn't had a bite. As they were loading up the boat, a man in a cowboy hat stopped and asked how they did. Brogun told him they hadn't caught a thing. That man was Wade Headrick and in Wade fashion, he asked Brogun if he wanted to go for a ride in his boat. Dad stayed back and watched as Wade gave his son some wiper tips and lo-and-behold Brogun landed a 15-pound wiper. Now if you know Wade, that's just who he is. He saw a frustrated boy and wanted to help out. Brogun's dad, Kyle, wanted to thank Wade for his generosity and for turning a tough day into one he and his son will never forget.
