SALT LAKE CITY — A mere three votes separated one of our matchups this week, while the rest were fairly convincing results.

In the tightest matchup so far — the aforementioned three votes — Diamond Lil's Steak House edged out Coachman's Dinner & Pancake House for a spot in the top eight of our favorite restaurants no longer around.

The former steak house will go up against Sconecutter, which earned 73% of the vote over Eat-A-Burger in the previous round. Admittedly, both were great restaurants, but only one can advance to the final four.

For another round, the Training Table cleaned up the votes with 88% support over Sampan. But it's far from a guarantee in the next round as it faces a formidable competitor in The Mayan. Are you into ordering your food by phone while at the restaurant in a casual setting for all or watching divers perform while you enjoyed your meal?

On the other side of the bracket, though, is a former fast food staple in Jakes Over the Top going up against one of the most popular restaurants of its time in Iggy's. Do you miss the shakes or the dipping your bread into the sweet chili sauce more?

It should be a fun round of voting, so get your favorite through!

As always, vote below, and then share your favorite memories in the comments. Voting will close at the end of the day.
