WASHINGTON — Crimson Cliffs had plenty to celebrate Friday night. The Mustangs capped off the regular season with a 56-7 win over Pine View and locked up the region title in the process.

The momentum continued in the second quarter as Madden Smith punched in another score for Crimson Cliffs.
Pine View finally got on the board with a touchdown, but the Mustangs' offense kept rolling and took a commanding 35-7 lead into halftime.
Crimson Cliffs' defense took over in the second half, shutting down any attempt Pine View made to rally. The Mustangs added two more touchdowns, one in the third quarter by Briton Phillips and another in the fourth by Tyler Phillips to seal the 56-7 victory.
To cap off senior night, Crimson Cliffs filled the field with its senior class in the fourth quarter, giving them one final chance to play together under the Friday night lights.
After the game, head coach Wayne Alofipo kept his postgame remarks short but meaningful, congratulating his players on their season-long effort and focus before the team turned their attention to honoring the seniors.
With the dominant win, Crimson Cliffs closes the regular season as region champions and ready to carry that momentum into the postseason.
