LITTLEFIELD, Arizona — Mohave County detectives are trying to identify a woman whose remains were found near Beaver Dam, Arizona, just south of the Utah border.
The woman's remains were located on May 9 at the bottom of an 80-foot cliff in the Beaver Dam area, approximately 4 miles south of the TA Express truck stop and a mile west of I-15, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office said in a news release issued Thursday.
It appears the woman fell off the top of the cliff and was likely in the location for several weeks before being found, according to the release. She had black, shoulder-length hair that was matted, officials said.
"There is limited physical description information due to the decomposition of the body. At this time, the cause of death is still under investigation," the release says.

Clothes she was wearing or had in her possession were described as a red, long-sleeved Adidas shirt that says Southern Utah Basketball, a black H&M T-shirt, gray White Fable brand sweatpants, a black Vegas Golden Knights knit cap, white and blue Nautica brand tennis shoes —dize 10 with no laces — and black Twisted Soul sweatpants.
Anyone with information on the woman's identity is encouraged to contact the Mohave County Sheriff's Office at 928-753-2141 and reference DR #25-016678.
