SOUTH AFRICA — There are a lot of sad and scary news headlines out there — crime, suffering and misbehavior. It's enough to really bring you down.

So when I stumble upon a video of pure, unbridled cuteness, I have a moral obligation to share it. And if the video in question features bushbabies, then I move even faster to write the article and submit it to your editor.

Are you having a rough day? Feeling like the world is falling apart? Treat yourself to this video of bushbabies peeking out from a fencepost.

These critters live in South Africa and the video's caption states, "In the early evening of a late June day in 2024, we settled down to film a fence pole and see what would happen. Eventually, they made an appearance — three lesser bushbabies, or galagos, that spend the day sleeping in the fence pole, and start to show in the late afternoon. They pop their heads out cautiously at first, to make sure that it's safe, and eventually head out to go and feed as darkness falls. Absolutely amazing to see!"

Agreed. It's amazing to see those little bushbabies — and I hope they brightened your day a little. I know they did for me.
