ST. GEORGE — As part of a sting operation targeting individuals involved in the purchase of commercial sex and human trafficking, three men were arrested in November and now face multiple charges.

With the help of the Utah Attorney General's Office and Washington County Drug Task Force detectives, Secure Strike Force led the sting operation, which aimed to disrupt illegal activities and provide support for victims of human trafficking. On Nov. 14, undercover agents were deployed and worked with two female sex workers to conduct the operation, according to a news release issued by the state attorney's office.

Once they were provided support options, the women were reportedly released at the scene.

The names of the men arrested have yet to be released since the investigation is ongoing.
