What's coming to Disney+ and coming and going on Hulu in December

SALT LAKE CITY — The holiday season is a wonderful time to put family members in front of the TV while the rest of us work in the kitchen. Those apple and cream cheese pies don't make themselves, after all.

Beyond the many holiday-themed titles, a couple of the new titles on Disney+ will be streamed live. One is "the Simpsons Funday Football," and the other is "Dunk the Halls Animated Game."

Amid the hustle and bustle of the season, do you ever just want to get away from it all and be alone? "Cast Away" may be the movie for you. Yes, there is a tear-jerking scene with a volleyball, but otherwise, the film is a wonderful examination of what life is like when cast out of society.
