SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Hockey Club's first-ever NHL Draft pick, Tij Iginla, laced them up for the first time on Sunday night, looking nothing like someone who had just turned 18 years old last month.

Iginla was aggressive and showed glimpses of promise as the Utah Hockey Club rolled to a 6-3 preseason win over the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. While Iginla found his footing, stars like Clayton Keller and Dylan Guenther found the back of the net three times between the two of them.

Josh Doan, to his credit, may also have taken a big step in his NHL journey, perhaps sealing a spot on the opening night roster with a one-goal performance in the win. Austin Facer gives his take on the victory over Colorado, the loss to Vegas and a mixed bag when it comes to SEG Media broadcasts.
