SALT LAKE CITY — As we head into Week 7 of Utah high school football, the competition is heating up.
Lone Peak and Corner Canyon have been trading places at the top of the standings, while teams across the state continue to fight for position. Here's this week's KSL.com Top 20+1.
1. Lone Peak (5-1)
Lone Peak is back on top after a dominant 37-0 win over Pleasant Grove. With their only loss coming to California's Centennial, the Knights have been unstoppable in Utah. They'll face a tough American Fork squad next.
2. Corner Canyon (5-1)
Despite injuries to star players Helaman Casuga and receiver Jerome Myles, the Chargers powered past Mountain Ridge 21-14. Backup quarterback Bronson Evans and running back Cooper Kingston stepped up in a big way, leading Corner Canyon to a bounce-back win. The question remains: Who can stop them?
3. Lehi (5-0)
The Pioneers are still perfect, rolling past American Fork 33-10. Lehi's defense stifled the Cavemen, and their offense continues to fire on all cylinders. Up next, they'll aim to keep their unbeaten streak alive against No. 4 Skyridge.
4. Skyridge (4-2)
Skyridge dismantled Westlake 40-0, with quarterback Kaneal Sweetwyne contributing four touchdowns through the air and one on the ground. The Falcons look sharp heading into the back half of the season.

5. Timpview (2-2)
Timpview had a bye this week after routing Springville 45-0. The Thunderbirds are set to take on Cedar Valley on Friday, hoping to build momentum as they gear up for tougher competition.
6. Roy (6-0)
Roy is flying high after a 55-35 victory over Bonneville, maintaining their unbeaten streak. Quarterback Dru Gardner and receiver Robert Young connected for multiple touchdowns, and the Royals show no signs of slowing down.
7. Davis (5-1)
The Darts escaped with a 39-37 nail-biter over Weber, thanks to the connection between quarterback Tradon Bessinger and receiver Tyson Baggett. They've now won five straight and are peaking at the right time.
8. Ridgeline (6-0)
The Riverhawks stayed perfect with a 42-6 win over Bear River. They've been blowing teams out all season, and Friday was no different as they recorded their fourth straight road victory.
9. Maple Mountain (6-0)
Maple Mountain edged out Wasatch 28-24, extending their unbeaten run. Quarterback Mason Jensen had another stellar performance with three touchdowns. They face Orem this week in a game that could be pivotal in 5A.
10. Morgan (6-0)
Morgan's most recent matchup against Juan Diego ended in a 49-0 win behind Lincoln Gilson's three rushing touchdowns. The Trojans' defense was dominant, keeping their opponent off the scoreboard and moving to 6-0.
11. Bountiful (5-1)
Bountiful pulled off the upset of the week, taking down previously undefeated Northridge. Special teams played a huge role in the victory as the Redhawks now look to keep climbing the ranks.
12. Brighton (5-1)
The Bengals defeated Skyline 42-0, continuing their streak of lopsided wins. Quarterback Ryce Palepoi had four touchdown passes, and their defense has been one of the stingiest in the state.
13. Orem (5-1)
Orem dropped their first game of the season in a 60-59 heartbreaker against Sky View. Despite the loss, the Tigers are still among the best in 5A, and they'll look to bounce back against Maple Mountain.
14. Spanish Fork (5-1)
Spanish Fork is rolling after a 30-2 win over Salem Hills. The Dons rushed for over 300 yards and continue to show why they're a top team in their region.
15. Northridge (5-1)
After starting 5-0, the Knights fell to Bountiful in a tough loss. Northridge will aim to rebound this week against Bonneville and regain momentum in Region 5.

16. Weber (4-2)
Weber narrowly missed out on a win against Davis in a 39-37 loss. Despite the close defeat, the Warriors have shown resilience and will look for a comeback against Syracuse.
17. Green Canyon (5-1)
The Wolves dominated Logan 42-21, with a season-high offensive output. Green Canyon's chemistry is clicking at the right time, and they'll face Mountain Crest this week.
18. Fremont (4-2)
Making their way into the Top 20 for the first time this season, Fremont had a tough start, losing their first two games in a row. However, they've regrouped and have won their last four games. Will they continue their win streak as they take on the Davis Darts next week?
19. Ogden (5-0)
The Tigers are back in the rankings after staying perfect at 5-0 with a win over Preston (Idaho). They're one of the surprise teams this year and will look to keep climbing.
20. Sky View (4-2)
Sky View was a team many people didn't blink an eye at, until last Friday in their matchup against the ranked Orem Tigers. Despite trailing by 17 points at halftime, the Bobcats rallied in the second half, scoring 27 points in the third quarter alone. They pulled off a 60-59 win, with an impressive performance from Liam Guthrie, who had 204 receiving yards and five total touchdowns on the night. Will Sky View continue making big plays this season?

Plus-1- Stansbury (4-2)
Stansbury has found its rhythm, riding a three-game win streak into Week 7. The Stallions took down undefeated Park City 14-10 in their last outing and welcome 4A powerhouse Crimson Cliffs this week.
Quarterback Coleman Dearden has been making all the right plays, while their defense has shut down opposing offenses. Stansbury's recent surge has positioned them as a dangerous team in 4A, and they'll look to keep the momentum going in the weeks ahead.
