SALT LAKE CITY — Matt McConnell hasn't seen enough of coach Andre Tourigny's hockey team just yet.

McConnell, who spent the last 13 years with the Arizona Coyotes, will lead the Utah Hockey Club's broadcast team for the inaugural season.

"We are thrilled to bring together this talented and experienced team of broadcasters for Utah Hockey Club, who will undoubtedly provide the best possible experience for all fans — providing new insights to our most knowledgeable viewers while also educating and engaging those who are new to hockey," Utah Hockey Club president Chris Armstrong said.

"We are confident that their expertise and passion will elevate the viewing experience and help us to build a strong and passionate fan base."

This will be McConnell's 29th season as an NHL announcer. His career also features stops with the Anaheim Ducks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Atlanta Thrashers and the Minnesota Wild.

Non-national Utah Hockey Club games will be broadcast on KUPX-TV Channel 16.

The rest of Utah's broadcast team includes:

Dominic Moore, analyst: Moore comes to the Hockey Club after three years as an analyst for ESPN and NBC. He played nearly 1,000 games in the league through 13 seasons.

Nick Olczyk, analyst: Olczyk spent the last two seasons with the Seattle Kraken as an analyst.

Kim Becker, studio host: A former competitive figure skater (she spent nearly a decade performing with Disney on Ice), Becker has experience as an in-game host for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. She recently hosted Avalanche LIVE on Altitude TV.

Sarah Merrifield, rinkside reporter: A former sideline reporter for Bally Sports who has covered the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks.
