SALT LAKE CITY — From its home in Savannah, Georgia, to sold out stadiums across the country, the Savannah Bananas have forever changed the game of baseball.
It doesn't take long to see why, either. Banana Ball is an experience.
"Banana Ball is the creation of the perfect game," Zack Frongillo, director of entertainment for the Savannah Bananas, said. "It has the elements of baseball, but it adds in trick plays, fun, excitement, energy."
With a noble mission — "Fans first. Entertain always." — that guides everything the organization does, the Savannah Bananas have become a viral sensation; and the game that owner Jesse Cole created continues to be well received wherever the game is played.
Check out their story in the video above and see why so many around the world have caught on to Banana Ball.
