CALIFORNIA — There's nothing quite like a heist movie, which usually feature a lovable, rogue crew of quirky individuals who are experts in their fields. There's the nerdy one who can hack any computer, the calculating one who can plan out complex strategies, and — most memorable of all — the gonzo one who handles the explosives.

Professional crews like this do exist in real life. Typically, you'll hear about them nabbing some priceless artwork from a museum or stealing a load of gold from an airport. While some of the conspirators are eventually caught, many of them seem to vanish into the ether.

Most criminals, however, lack the sophistication and expertise of these crews. For example, the two guys in this video will probably never be featured in an "Ocean's Eleven" film.

For starters, it seems like a mistake to send two people to grab one box of mail. This blunder leads to an atrocious handoff of the loot, followed by the first crook simply running down the sidewalk.

The exasperated postal carrier can only watch as the robbery laboriously unfolds. I imagine it only adds insult to injury when you're targeted by the clumsiest criminals on the block.

If there's one good thing from this video, it's the fact a nearby dash camera captured the license plate of the getaway car. So, at least justice could eventually be served.
