ATLANTA — Crime certainly didn't pay at a nail salon in Atlanta when a robbery didn't go as planned.
Video from Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta shows a man entering the salon on July 3, pretending to have a gun, and shouting, "Everybody get down! Give me all your money!"
The salon customers took a look at the would-be robber but seemed uninterested.
One woman eventually stood, handed over her cellphone — but no money — and backed out the door. The phone was later recovered, police said.
The would-be robber finally left. He remains at large.
One Facebook commenter said the whole thing resembles a bad comedy sketch. Another said, "Bruh picked the wrong spot" to rob, as likely no one wanted to ruin their nails.
