THE LAUNDRY ROOM — Imagine this: You're running late and still need to iron your shirt before you head out the door. You pull the iron off the shelf, plug it in and turn it on, only to discover that it's broken.
No worries. Who needs an iron, anyway?
The guy in this video improvised by grabbing a cooking pan, warming it on the stove, lightly spraying the shirt with water and then ironing away.
The results: "It looked pretty good to me," one viewer said.
It's a "heck of a way to get really good results instead of explaining to everyone (about your wrinkled shirt) and feeling uncomfortable all day," another commenter said.
One thing to remember: Make sure the bottom of the pan is squeaky clean.
And if you don't have a saucepan handy, other ideas include misting with water then hanging the shirt to dry, throwing the unsightly clothes in the dryer with a few ice cubes, or using a hair straightener.
