SALT LAKE CITY — Recruiting is the lifeblood of any collegiate program, and it's no different for the University of Utah football program.
Below is a brief look at who has already committed to Utah, as well as some players to be on the lookout for in the coming months.
Check back often to see how the 2024 recruiting class takes shape.
Note: Although there are several recruiting services to pull from, KSL.com partners with 247Sports to identify a recruit's ranking (namely the 247Sports Composite, which factors in other services). Committed recruits
Isaiah Garcia, OT, Corner Canyon HS (Draper, UT)
Isaiah Garcia is a four-star offensive tackle and is rated the No. 1 recruit for the state of Utah in the 2024 recruiting class. Garcia holds 22 scholarship offers and has officially visited four schools, including Utah on June 9. The Corner Canyon product released his top four schools — Oregon, Stanford, USC and Utah — at the end of June before he announced on July 29 his commitment to Utah.

Isaac Wilson, QB, Corner Canyon HS (Draper, UT)
Isaac Wilson, the younger brother of current New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, is a four-star quarterback at Corner Canyon High. Wilson holds nearly 20 offers from schools around the country, but used his first official visit at the University of Utah on April 21. He committed to Utah on May 24 after narrowing his decision down to six schools.

Davis Andrews, S, American Fork HS (American Fork, UT)
Davis Andrews is a three-star safety, who also plays wide receiver, at American Fork High, and the No. 5 overall-rated recruit in the state of Utah, according to 247Sports. Andrews had 15 offers to play at the collegiate level, but narrowed his decision down to BYU, Notre Dame, UCLA and Utah. Long considered a Notre Dame target, Andrews announced his commitment to Utah Oct. 2, 2023.

Zacharyus Williams, WR, Junipero Serra HS (Gardena, CA)
Zacharyus Williams is a three-star wide receiver with 12 offers, according to 247Sports, including offers from Arizona, Florida State, UCLA and Washington. He officially visited Utah on Sept. 23 before committing to Utah on Nov. 21.

Hunter Andrews, ATH, Magnolia HS (Magnolia, TX)
Andrews is a two-way player that is being projected as a linebacker at the next level, though he capable as a tight end, as well. Though an under the radar recruit from the national recruiting services, Andrews has more than 20 scholarship offers and several Power Five offers. The Texas athlete took an official visit to Utah on June 16, and later announced his commitment to the program on June 25.

Kash Dillon, DE, Corner Canyon HS (Draper, UT)
Kash Dillon is a three-star defensive end from Corner Canyon High who has several offers from Power Five teams. Dillon took an official visit to the University of Utah on April 21 and witness the school's spring game. Dillon narrowed his decision down to five schools — Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Utah and Washington — before eventually committing to his dream school on Aug. 12.

Jeilani Davis, S, Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, CA)
Jeilani Davis is a three-star safety out of talent-rich Mater Dei High in California, and holds 12 offers from various schools around the country. Davis is expected to take an official visit to Utah on June 2, but he committed to the Utes on May 14, despite holding offers from multiple Power Five programs.

David Washington, WR, Las Vegas Academy (Las Vegas, NV)
David Washington is a four-star wide receiver out of Las Vegas, according to 247Sports and Rivals, though he's listed as a consensus three-star recruit. The No. 2 rated recruit from the state of Nevada has 22 offers and officially visited Utah on June 9. Washington announced on Twitter on July 10, 2023, his "1000%" commitment to Utah, beating out offers from several other Pac-12 teams.

Sammie Hunter, CB, Chandler HS (Chandler, AZ)
Hunter is a three-star cornerback from Arizona who took an official visit to Utah on June 23. A little more than a week later, the Chandler, Arizona, native committed to Utah. He currently holds eight scholarship offers and took his first official visit to Iowa State a week before his visit to Utah.

Ashtin Kekahuna-Lopes, LB, St. John Bosco HS (Bellflower, CA)
Kekahuna-Lopes is a three-star linebacker originally from Nevada who holds just nine official scholarship offers. He officially visited Utah on June 9, and later committed to the program on July 15. Before committing, Kekahuna-Lopes also took official visits to Boston College, Oregon State and Washington.

Latristan Thompson, CB, Mount Pleasant HS (Mount Pleasant, TX)
Thompson is a late bloomer cornerback from Texas with only five offers, with Utah as his only Power Five offer. The 6-foot corner from Mount Pleasant committed to Utah on Dec. 10 after an official visit two days prior.

Luke Bryant, S, Olympus HS (Salt Lake City, UT)
Bryant had a solid senior season at Olympus High, where he attracted the attention of BYU, Utah and Utah State, among others, as a projected safety at the next level. The 6-foot-2 safety officially pledged his commitment to Utah Dec. 17 after an official visit two days prior.

Shemwell had three Power Five offers, including Arizona, Utah and Washington State, as a corner out of Long Beach. Shemwell committed to Utah Dec. 1 without taking an official visit to the program.

Maurice Evans, S, Blinn CC (Brenham, TX)
Out of Blinn College, Evans had 17 offers to play at the Division I level, including an offer from Utah. The 6-foot-2 safety from Texas committed to Utah Dec. 9.
