DRAPER — The staff at Lone Peak Hospital in Draper decided their neonatal intensive care unit babies needed a mood boost — or a mood hop.

The babies were dressed up as bunnies for the holiday, "since they won't be celebrating their first Easter at home … and they won't be hunting for Easter eggs with family and friends this year."

The neonatal intensive care unit provides care to babies who were born early in their mother's pregnancy or had medical complications at birth. The babies are monitored 24/7, and the hospital works closely with parents who have children in the NICU.

"It's just one way we hope to bring the celebration to these babies and their sweet families," the hospital said. "We cannot handle the cuteness!"
