Oct 7 — The ​US National Hurricane ‌Center said in ⁠its ​latest ⁠advisory ‌on Wednesday ‌that Isaias has ⁠strengthened ⁠into a hurricane.

Isaias was about 460 miles (745 ‌Km) ​south-southwest of the mouth of the Mississippi river, ​with ‌maximum ‌sustained winds ⁠of 75 mph (120 Km/h).
