SALT LAKE CITY — A Saturday night tilt with Big 12 title implications just got bigger.
On Sunday morning, ESPN announced that its pregame "College GameDay" show will be returning to Salt Lake City ahead of Utah's game against Cincinnati (8:15 p.m. MDT, ESPN) on Saturday.
It's the second time in three seasons the premier college football show — which includes host Rece Davis and panelists Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee — has made Salt Lake City home for a weekend.
The show made its last stop in Salt Lake City in October 2023, when Utah hosted a dominant Oregon team.
The "GameDay" setup will take place on President's Circle on the campus of the University of Utah from 7-10 a.m. MDT Saturday.
It's the second pregame show to make a stop in Salt Lake City this season. FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff" made a visit to the state's capital on Sept. 20 ahead of another Big 12 showdown between Utah and Texas Tech.
