HONEYVILLE, Box Elder County — Northbound lanes of I-15 have fully reopened north of Brigham City following a crash that prompted an hours-long closure of the freeway on Thursday afternoon.

The crash, which the Utah Department of Transportation first alerted to at 2 p.m., involved only a single semitruck that left the road to the right, overcorrected to the left and crashed near 6900 North in Honeyvill, Box Elder County, according to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cam Roden.

The driver was taken to the hospital with "minor to moderate" injuries, he said.

Traffic was diverted off an exit ramp for a couple of hours, but UDOT reported that all lanes had reopened by about 4:15 p.m.
