ST. GEORGE — As summer winds down, the city of St. George is gearing up for the second annual Dixie Days, presented by Tech Ridge and SkyWest Airlines.

Noted as one of the most anticipated events of the year in a news release issued by the city, this weeklong event, set for Sept. 15-21, brings the community together to celebrate the area's heritage, creativity and hometown spirit.

"Dixie Days is more than an event. It's a celebration of who we are," Mayor Michele Randall said in the news release. "From the Dixie Roundup Rodeo and parade, to the carnival and drone show, to the festival and Dinner on Main, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

"We invite the entire community to come out, make memories and show what the Dixie spirit truly means here in St. George."
