SALT LAKE CITY — You can officially put the first-ever Utah Mammoth game on your calendars.
The team announced the 82-game schedule for its second season in Utah and first under the new Mammoth moniker on Wednesday as part of the 2025-26 NHL schedule release.
The club begins its follow-up to a 38-31-13 inaugural season on a three-game road trip, beginning Thursday, Oct. 9, against the Rocky Mountain rival Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena. Road games against Nashville and Chicago follow, before the team returns to Utah for the home opener against the Calgary Flames on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The home opener begins a four-game homestand with Delta Center dates to follow against San Jose, Boston and Colorado. The longest homestand of the season for the Mammoth will be a seven-game run from Jan. 7 through Jan. 21, and the longest road trip is a six-game, 10-day road trip from Nov. 27 through Dec. 6.
The reigning Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers will make one appearance at the Delta Center on Dec. 10. It will be the first meeting for Utah free agent signings Nate Schmidt and Vitek Vanecek against their former team after bringing home the Cup.
The NHL will take a break for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan, Italy, from Feb. 5-24. It is the first time that NHL players will compete in the Winter Olympics since 2014. The Mammoth have four home games and zero road games in the month of February.
Utah finishes the 2025-26 campaign with five of the final six games of the season at the Delta Center, culminating in a matchup against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, April 16.
The 2025-26 NHL season will be the final with 82 games, as the NHLPA agreed to an 84-game schedule beginning in 2026-27 as part of its new CBA.
Mammoth games are streamed on the Mammoth+ service and televised locally on Utah 16 (KUPX-TV- Channel 16). National broadcast information will be released at a later date.
The preseason begins on the road against the Avalanche, as well, on Sunday, Sept. 21, before returning home for the first event at the Delta Center following the first summer of renovations on Thursday, Oct. 2, against the Los Angeles Kings.
