ST. GEORGE — As the sun sets and shadows grow long, St. George's past rises from the grave, ready to share its ghostly secrets. Step onto a haunted path where history and mystery intertwine, and every corner holds a story that will send a chill down your spine.

"Bring an open mind because you're going to hear some stories that you haven't heard before," St. George Ghost Tours owner Grady Hartman said. "And bring a flashlight because we do go down some really dark streets and alleyways."

St. George Ghost Tours invites you on a spooky 90-minute stroll through downtown St. George, where you'll uncover eerie stories while soaking in the haunted sights. The tour covers about a mile and a half, with plenty of stops at old businesses and historic buildings, perfect for snapping photos and catching your breath between spine-tingling tales. With two tours to choose from, 7 p.m. or 9:30 p.m., you can take your pick on Thursday, Friday or Saturday for a ghostly good time.

Hartman said the tales spun on St. George Ghost Tours are ones they've unearthed through plenty of digging and research. It's wild to think about how much superstition and folklore from the pioneer days have slipped through the cracks of history. But now, thanks to their sleuthing, they're ready to bring these spooky stories back to life and can't wait to share the eerie treasures they've discovered.
