ST. GEORGE — This St. George Mexican restaurant recently marked 50 years in business, with a history shaped by family, tradition and a passion for great food.

Sitting in a booth at Paula's Mexican Food, owner Paula Dominguez and her grandson, co-owner Brogan Dominguez, talked about the restaurant's history, offering firsthand insight into the family's journey and the flavors that have kept customers coming back for decades.

"My family's legacy is important to me," Brogan said. "I don't know, I think we can get another 50 (years) out of it — what do you think?"

"I won't make it," Paula Dominguez said with a chuckle, adding, "I'm already 90 years old."
