EAGLE MOUNTAIN — An outage has left over 21,000 Rocky Mountain Power customers without power in Utah County, the company said in a social media post on Friday.

"The cause is due to loss of transmission," the company said.

The outage is affecting 21,837 customers in Cedar Fort, Eagle Mountain and Fairfield and is not estimated to be restored until 8 p.m. Friday.
