HOWLING AWAY — On Wednesday night, Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford lifted a fly ball high to right field for a sacrifice fly that drove in the winning run in Seattle's win over the Houston Astros.

The play sent T-Mobile Park into a frenzy — but none of those fans matched the excitement back at the Crawford residence.

Crawford's wife, Kathy, posted a video on social media of the couple's three dogs — Thor, Loki and Alaina — howling away in the living room right after Crawford won the game for the Mariners.

"I think she started screaming, and then — boom — it triggered them," Crawford told the Seattle Times Thursday morning.

It was fitting that it was Bark at the Park night at T-Mobile Park and 1,000 dogs were in attendance.

The Mariners' social media account reposted the video with the caption: "The best thing you'll see today."

The Crawfords are proud husky owners and have spearheaded fundraising efforts for NW Snowdog Rescue, a Washington charity dedicated to saving huskies.

"We love huskies," Crawford told the South Seattle Emerald in 2021. "A lot of huskies just don't get the chance to go to a good home because they're known as crazy wolf dogs. You know, a lot of people don't really know the true nature of huskies. And I want to change that."
