THATCHER, Box Elder County — An earthquake measuring in at a 4.3 magnitude was recorded near Thatcher in Box Elder County on Sunday evening.

The quake happened at 5:30 p.m., according to a preliminary report from the University of Utah Seismograph Stations. The epicenter was located about 10 miles southwest of Thatcher.

Additional information was not immediately available.
