LOGAN — A 44-year-old Nibley man died early Thursday morning after a rollover crash in Cache County, according to Utah Highway Patrol.

Kent M. Batty was found dead at the crash scene. The crash took place at about 12:40 a.m. on state Route 30 about 7 miles west of Logan, UHP said.

Batty was driving a Ford pickup truck eastbound on the road when he went off the right side of the road, according to UHP. He overcorrected and went back across the highway, going off the left side.

The truck rotated and turned over, coming to rest on the passenger side.

Batty was not wearing a seat belt and it appeared he was fatigued while driving, UHP said.

There were no other signs of impaired or distracted driving during the crash.
