HURRICANE, Washington County — A short-lived brush fire that ignited in a wash running between Hurricane neighborhoods Monday evening and threatened nearby homes is suspected to be human-caused.
Multiple fire crews from the Hurricane Valley Fire District responded to the area of 1019 West and 200 South where a brush fire was reported just after 8:30 p.m. in the Gould Wash, according to a social media post from the fire district.
